We heard the hot chocolate here is a must try so we ordered one each. It came in a jug which we shared between the two of us and a cup of whipped cream. There was easily enough chocolate for 4 cups total, but it was soooo insanely rich we could each barely drink one cup. The chocolate was definitely really good, though - rich and velvety, deeply flavorful and fruity. Next time we would definitely just share one chocolate between two people. Service was so-so.

Love the hot chocolate! Service was great and the staff were friendly.

The perfect spot for something sweet when visiting the Jardin du Luxembourg. I read that Angelina's Hot Chocolate is a MUST when visiting Paris and so we decided to try it out. Delicious and extremely rich and also plenty left over for a second cup if you dare - bear both these facts in mind when ordering an accompanying pastry. I kept my order simple with the Millefeuille à la vanille Bourbon, which had just the right level of sweetness. Only critique I have is that our server wasn't very attentive after bringing our order and it took ages to get the bill. Other than that, the atmosphere was lovely.

What a delight to stumble across Angelina after arriving at Musee Luxembourg. Served the best coffee I'd had across Malta, UK, Sicily and Paris. Not to mention the most exquisite pear tart. Charming staff too. Don't miss this cafe.

This was called out in a guide book. Wanted to stop in for a pastry and coffee. It had an odd vibe. I don't know if it is normal, but we had to pass through security to get into a courtyard, then into the bakery... it just felt weird and we left. Wasn't impressed with the offerings.

Hip to the hip hop Hype! If Angelina was the only meal and dessert you eat in Paris then you won't be upset! My wife and I visited this location twice and the location in the Palace of Versailles. Each time was great! The Hot chocolate is literally like someone took solid chocolate bars, melted them and then added just a hair of milk enough to keep it from solidifying. You have to get it while you wait in line.. oh yeah. There's a wait. It's worth it. Don't worry. Pick from anything on the menu. The omelet Angelina, the Angelina Croissant, the Caesar salad and many other great meals. Be sure to grab some chocolate to go on your way out. Makes for a fun midnight snack! The only reason I'm leaving four stars is due to the what seemed like a greedy waiter. He brought us bottled waters instead of tap water like everyone else which racked up our bill. Then proceeded to ask for a tip at the end of the meal. Not once in Paris was I asked for a tip. It must be because I am American and must think I can afford it. News flash buddy I flew here on miles.... lol Don't let that guy stop you... everyone else was awesome.

Parisian tourist trap. Service was fine, we went when the rush was at a lull so we were seated quickly. Our server did not seem to mind switching to English. The outlandish prices did not seem to match the quality of the food, which put it in the tourist trap category. €8.2 for hot chocolate and €9 for four Oreo sized macaroons. The hot chocolate was extremely thick, rich, dark and syrupy. I personally did not like it. After paying €12 for pizza down the street my wife and I walked into here (we knew it was well known) and ended up spending €34.40 on two hot chocolates and two plates of macaroons. Couldn't tell if I was in Paris or Disneyworld.
