Very nice battleship to visit. Possibly haunted, but hey it's a battleship it's kinda a given. Right now the super-structre on the ship is undergoing restorations, so it's completely covered in white tarp and blocked off. The surrender deck and the interior of the ship are still open of course. There is air conditioning inside the ship. To access the memorial you have to take a shuttle bus from the Pearl Harbor memorial, as Ford island is an active military base.

Loved the tour of the big Mo. I did the extended tour which includes a look into a turret and a dive into the engine spaces. Great. However I was disappointed that you can't see the bridge or get up into the superstructure. That's a big disappointment. Also a lot of the ship is off limits. And the entire superstructure is under wraps for renovations until SEP 2017.

This tour was awesome the guide very informative. He told us so much and made what he said come to life. You get to look the whole ship over and they have awesome photos taken of you. Resonance price since the money helps maintain the ship. Snack bar there too.
