Deeply, deeply impressed by Lale Cafe Restaurant and honestly can't think of a single way to fault it. The gozleme was excellent - generous portion, fresh ingredients, delicious taste and very reasonably priced. They also kindly allowed me to cutomise my order (instead of chicken and mushroom, I had asked for chicken, cheese and spinach and they readily accommodated). Which brings me to the staff - they are super-friendly and warm-natured and their level of service is excellent. I'm really glad I stumbled upon Lale and will definitely be going back there next time I'm in/passing Fitzroy.

Great gözleme and börek. Try the Mediterranean baked eggs, sucuk with eggs or pastırma with eggs for breakfast.
