After all the positive reviews, we had high expectations & looked forward to a nice dinner just before 9pm. Upon ordering it was clear the staff couldn't cope & turned out nor could the kitchen. Even when the restaurant was half full it took almost an hour for our main dishes to arrive & others were also clearly annoyed. Maybe the food would make up for it (We ordered the traditional steak) but unfortunately not. It was tough and lack of flavour attempted to be covered by lots of garlic... almost as if they had only defrosted the meat when we ordered... certainly far better steaks available at other restaurants in Ponta Delgada for not much more $$. I also ordered a glass of wine with my main but it never came & then they tried to charge for it. Really would not recommend this place unless you are on a tight budget or desperately hungry.

This place is a great spot. Excellent food to a very good price. Better value for your money you can't get. We probably end up eating here cpl of times.
