The title of this restaurant shows "New" Kim Tar, but this restaurant has been around since I was a kid, definitely over 25 years ago. I used to come here with my parents as a small child. Nothing has really changed as far as food goes. They remodeled the place recently and added some new chairs and tables. Most of the noodles are pretty inexpensive. When you start ordered tons of plates, it becomes around 12-18 a plate. Still not a bad option considering all the really good places are either in monterey park/alhambra/rosemead, or east in Rowland Heights.

I have been going here for years, their dishes have gotten a bit too pricey and portion is getting smaller and the quality of their soup is not consistent, sometimes it's really good and then one day it could be like the cook forgot to put salt in there or they just added water in the soup.

Tasty and quality Chinese food. Gimmick deals. When I asked for 4 Ice Tea with Boba, I was please to hear it's "buy 1 get 1 free". Total price for 4 is $10, so I cannot recommend anyone ordering these small drinks, which are mostly filled with Ice for $5 each.

If you like authentic, delicious chinese cuisine you got the right place! We've been visiting to this restaurant since the 90's! and look, they are still going strong!
