There are not enough words to describe how terrible this experience was....!
We ordered two rare Fiorentina steaks, with mustard sauce.
What arrived was two well done T bone steaks. (Well done is polite, these things were charred). No mustard sauce and a side of soggy salad.
We immediately asked for the mustard sauce, the waitresses simply ran away and did not return for 20 minutes. When they did return (still no sauce), we told them that the steaks were over cooked and asked to see the manager. A further 20 minutes and the mustard sauce arrived (lol). We asked for the manager again, who never appeared.
Eventually we went downstairs to address the manager directly. When we finally did get to speak to the manager, he simply asked where we were from (London), and said; ‘you from London, you pay or I call police’. Then pretended to phone police, holding his phone to his ear, unfortunately this was not very convincing as his phone was on Facebook...!
The manager himself admitted that the food was terrible. But said that we should have spoken to him sooner!! What a joke!
Luckily my girlfriend speaks fluent Italian, otherwise I fear we would have been completely ignored.
Anyway, it looks nice and has good views, but just don’t waste your time and money
Absolutely horrendous. Avoid at all costs, food is sub par, takes hours and will actually ruin your afternoon. Not to mention it is over priced. The surrounding tables were warning potential patrons to “stay away” from this black hole. Don’t waste a meal in Italy on this dump.
Absolutely the worst experience in the restaurant industry. Horrible service and even worse food!!! Spilled half of our bottle of wine and severed us cold food twice!!! Charged us full price with a smile. The one star rating is for the rooftop view.
