I've been to this place many times over the years. This is a hidden gem, too often overlooked. I'd like to see more people in the place because the food is certainly some of the best in Canberra. You should try it.

Called up to reserve a seat for me and my partner and the woman was bubbly and extremely excited. We heard of this place through a great review on their honey chicken and we discovered it to be more than great. Not only was it succulent and melts in your mouth, the price range was reasonable throughout the board and we will definitely be back. 10/10 x

My partner and I are frequent visitors. We are always welcomed by Both chef Sui and Rebecca. The food is always amazing and our tummies are always left more than satisfied! It is evident that the chef is passionate and driven which is rare in most restaurants in Canberra. For what you pay you certainly will not feel ripped off or let down. You are always provided with generous servings even for take away dishes. Granted it takes a little longer to receive the food, but honestly it's worth the wait. The East Kitchen is tucked away in the corner of Dickson, it is definitely a gem worth discovering.
