The place is clean and has nice staff but the falafel was under cooked and the pita so thin it fell apart right away. Probably the worst falafel down town

Awesome food

The worst falafel I've had ever.... calling it falafel is an insult to falafel. If you want great falafel go to Ayola on Montgomery street or Green olive at Crocker galleria. You don't just deep fry ground chickpeas and call it falafel

These are actually the best filafels in town. All of the other signs lie.

Good Mediterranean food

Without question some of the best falafel I've had in the city. Perfectly light and crispy outside, with a moist flavorful center. At only $.50 a piece if you get a dozen they're a staggeringly good deal.

The only thing keeping this gem from a five star review is the size and limited seating. A great option for an affordable and delicious breakfast just steps from Union Square in downtown San Francisco. The breakfast special features a meat, egg and cheese sandwich on either crossiant or english muffin with a crisp hashbrown patty and a cup of organic coffee.

Good falafel. When I used Mealpal, though, my pita was pre-made, so some parts were soggy

Expensive for what you get. I got a lamb Shawarma and instead of getting fresh meat, he gave me meat out of a box that god knows how long it was sitting there bcoz the meat was pretty cold. If you are not lazy to walk a couple of minutes to any direction, you definitely can find better Mediterranean options.

Update: I just picked up my favorite dish and it went from somewhere around $8 to $11 now. Same food, same quality but $11 for what is basically fast lunch food? I'm going to have to pass on this from now on. --- The veggie plate is fantastic and gives you a variety of food. Plenty of food for the price and the falafel is always fresh. Go after the lunch rush so you aren't waiting for too long.
