I wasn't sure what to expect, but I certainly wasn't disappointed. It is indeed quirky, but seeing hundreds and hundreds of pictures, sculptures, trinkets and banana treats all in one place was astonishing. The owners were incredibly nice and gave us the background of the museum, which made me appreciate it even more. They have great banana drinks, sweets and ice cream for sundaes, shakes and splits. If you are in the area I think it is a must see!

"What in the world?" was my first thought as I'm sure it is for many. This kitschy museum in the middle of the desert is a true gem. Bananas, bananas, and more bananas! It brought back many childhood memories and the owners were so friendly and cheerful. The homemade banana ice cream was amazing as was the banana-split Twinkie. I applaud their passion and would recommend to any and all.
