Absolutely Amazing! My husband and I were in Vegas for our anniversary and had planned on going to the Grand Canyon during our trip. We had a change in plans and ended up deciding not to go. We had asked a local if there was one place (besides the Grand Canyon) we should visit and see, where would it be and he told us about Valley of Fire State Park. He was so right. There are no words to describe how magnificent this place is. The views are breathtaking and just unreal. We only had around 4 hours to spend there and didn't get to see everything, so would suggest planning a full day to experience it all. It was truly the best part of our 6 day trip. We are definitely planning on coming back so we can hike and see the entire park. If you are planning a trip out West, Valley of Fire State Park is a MUST SEE! These a just a few of the 200 Amazing photos we took.

This place was unbelievable. You feel like you're on a different planet. The campsites at Arch Rock campground were perfect. They included a parking spot, flat spot for a tent, table with shade over it, fire ring, pedestal grill, water for washing, and toilets. Most of the hikes are pretty short (less than a mile) and right off one of the main roads, so you can do all of them in one day. I can't wait to go back.

Compact state park with lots to explore! There many famous landmarks within short trails (1 or so miles) and historical petroglyphs. So much to see and do! Only an hour from the strip. You can also just do a scenic drive. There are half day tours but everything is well-marked and you'll have no trouble finding the landmarks.
