Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center

Welcome to the Navajo Nation's Monument Valley Park.  You are experiencing one of the most majestic - and most photographed - points on earth.

This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet. framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor. The angle of the sun accents these graceful formations, providing scenery that is simply spellbinding.

Really amazing views from the visitor center. Highly recommend going there. We were able to do the Long Trail into the park but that is on my bucket list for next time.

Great is the romance of the Hollywood movies and the memories. In reality you get there but nobody smiles. In my humble opinion, there is no benefit visiting the Visitors Centre. The included ticket gives you a map of a dirt track within the valley with no real perspective to enjoy these natural beautiful rock formations. The gift shop suffers from astronomical prices for the majority of items. The snack bar is painfully limited in its offerings and poorly serviced. One good fact is that you will get a good view from a balcony, good for some awesome pictures.
