CRAPPY FOOD, CRAPPY SERVICE, CRAPPY EXPERIENCE I took my daughter and grandson to lunch on Saturday. We were quite hungry and I wanted to have something different. I guess I expected way too much. The Hostesses were not friendly. They were more friendly to men than women. Our server was forgetful, the place was busy, but no excuse . We had to ask for a spoon, and plates, and... It was noisy and my daughter and I could not communicate very well. We ordered the pretzels and mini mac n cheese for my grandson on the fly. The dipping cheese for the pretzels was grainy. The mac and cheese was bland. He didn't eat it. I had the Smoked Salmon Toast and the Welsh Rarebit (basically a piece of bread, tomato and cheese). It was good, but overpriced for the portion. My daughter ordered a Cesar salad. She said it tasted weird and asked our server why. He said they put dill in the salad. I've never heard of that before. She asked for something else - a BLT. Her calamari was okay, but it had a side of pickled peppers (different from what she thought pickled peppers would be) which she couldn't eat due to allergies. My grandson and I were already finished eating when she got her food. She took a couple of bites and wasn't thrilled with that either. So we packed it up to go. She said that bacon was tough and she couldn't eat it. I got the bill - $11 for a Guinness and the total bill was $88.77! I wasted my money. CPK would have been better! I'm a local. Both my daughter and I have worked and managed restaurants. I'm sure if Gordon saw what we went through, he'd be yelling at the staff! To anyone reading: Overpriced, and you can expect less than timely service. Gordon, shame on you and your staff!

Shepherd's Pie was delicious. So flavorful. The Butter Chicken Curry was delicious as well. We walked around the restaurant and all of the food looked so good! We had the MOST AMAZING DESSERT EVER IN MY LIFE... STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. OMG. Just unbelievable!! Thank you to our waitress for all her recommendations!! I am a foodie from Chicago, so I am not easily impressed and often disappointed. Couldn't wait to try Gordon Ramsey's food. The service was excellent from beginning to end. Perfectly situated in the amazing Caesars Palace. Truly a memorable experience. Can't wait for the opening of Hell's Kitchen at Caesars. The prices were not that bad. You're in Vegas at a famous chef's restaurant in one of the finest hotels. Be realistic.

I'm an avid fan of the Hell's Kitchen show so while in Las Vegas I took the opportunity to have dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Pub & Grill thinking it would be a memorable experience. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I went in and sat at the bar. The restaurant was not very crowded. There was no bar tender present and one of the managers took it upon himself to make my drink - a simple vodka tonic. It wasn't well balanced. I ordered the fish & chips. The fish was good but the fries were cold.

The atmosphere was very nice and has a modern English flair. The food was very good as well; we had the fish & chips and the steak & ale pot pie. My only issue is that the prices seemed inflated for the very simple fish and chips served. There was only two medium sized strip of fish, and I know the fries and peas cost nearly nothing to the restaurant, yet the price was $30. I know this is Vegas, but you can have the same thing at his other restaurant near the Linq for half the price. The pot pie had a very savory flavor and was unique, so I think the price was justified.
