We ended up here because everywhere else was full. It is a nice quiet campsite. It's set far off the main road, and the drive in is mostly on gravel. Once there, the sites are large and spacious. Privacy varies. We enjoyed being on the tributary, and close to the river. If you have a filtration system, bring it because there isn't water there.
There were a lot of large trucks that were driving through the camp to the riverside. Probably the place where the locals hang out.
The pit toilet was disgusting and obviously had not been tended to for a very long time.
Great primitive and private FREE camping, perfect if you have a dog. Went on the week after labor day, and enjoyed a large spot by the water. Came here after leaving overcrowded Kataloch Campground. Was able to let our dog run. Also plenty of dry logs to cut up for fire wood. Only complaint was the bathroom...pit toilet that had not been cleaned for a while. No water so bring your own!
