We are a small group of old high school friends that like to get together for Christmas, we all live busy lives and its hard to all find a day to suit. We enjoy a long lunch, chatting, laughing, great food and wine etc. That's why we picked Gisborne peak, how utterly disappointed we became. The lack of customer service, rude management, lack of food options and waiting to pay for over 20 minutes left our little group rather sour. Everything was simply to hard for the staff to accommodate. If you have any special dietary requirements i.e Gluten free, lactose, Veterinarian or vegan please steer clear. We were told that they could not accommodate us as it was too busy, looking around there was probably only 3 other groups. It really was a shame as the scenery and location was beautiful. Perhaps Gisborne peak winery should realise they are in the service industry and treat there customers with some respect, after all our patronage pays your wages and keeps you open. We wont be back, and i honestly don't require a reply i just want others to be aware of the level of service to expect from this business. A very disappointing afternoon..

Beautiful place, food was delicious, the staff who seated and served us were lovely and we had a wonderful experience for Mother's Day. The only negative, were the two ladies behind the bar/register who had a terrible attitude and were unnecessarily rude and unhelpful ending the day on a slightly sour note unfortunately.

This is the absolute best winery in the Macedon Ranges. Staff are warm friendly and amazing, food is delicious and wine is beautiful, unique and well priced. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!
