If your looking for a great place to try some amazing food and drinks to match, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I have eaten there a few times and the chefs and sommelier never disappoint. Always something new and exciting on the menu to waken up the senses. I have always found the service to be amazing and I will keep coming back. Thanks to the head chef Pete and his team keep up the great work.

Ides is a hidden gem and feels like the kind of place that a chef would go for a special occasion. Despite the simple beauty of the space, it's not at all pretentious - the team are so friendly and make you feel right at home. The food is gorgeous in its delicacy and thoughtfulness (not to mention delicious!), and is made it all the more special with the chefs themselves delivering dishes to your table. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. Definitely recommend the drinks pairing - it was a real journey of discovery. My pregnant friend had the non-alcoholic drinks pairing which was just as interesting!

Stellar food, service and wine match. Absolutely will be back, chefs were so good with all of our dietaries. Awesome staff, great "Melbourne" restaurant!
