Have loved the Governors since I was a little girl and is a must every time I visit Maine. The staff is great and the desserts are divine. Small family run business, diner style. Must visit if you are in the area.

Governor's honestly has some of the best rolls and desserts around. We buy the large cakes, and freeze slices - they are huge and last for quite a while. The breakfast buffet is always pretty good, and overall the food is good.
