Best staff ever! The 1 kg fiorentina steak they picked for us was delicious! Recommend it to you all, for food just ask the staff for recommendations! Enjoy :)

Came for Christmas and had the set menu. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. We left there completely full. The service was friendly and flexible (they let me substitute something out of the set menu), and the ambiance of the restaurant is what one desires on a trip to Italy. Would absolutely come back!

The atmosphere was unlike anything I had previously experienced! The food and service were both excellent! And still, the prices were affordable on a working class paycheck! Overall, this is where I had my best dining experience in Rome during my one week vacation and I will definitely return to "Papa Rex" and I encourage you to visit too.

My husband and I stayed close by Papa Rex while we were on our honeymoon. We enjoyed this restaurant so much, we are here many times in one week! The staff, particularly Stefano, were polite, helpful, friendly and offered great service with an extensive menu for a low price. We are the types of travelers who believe in saying please/thank you in the local language and offering respect. This type of attitude surely grants you the same in return. We would recommend Papa Rex & Stefano to anyone visiting Roma!
