Disappointing visit except for diehard fans of the royal family. Neither the house nor the garden are very interesting. However, the guide was very enthusiastic and had a good sense of humour. Although she was knowledgeable about the people who had lived in the house, she had little to say on the furnishings and works of art, except for who sat on what chair or embroidered this or that.

One of the most wonderful days out, we visited this venue as our school was choosen this is a day that the the children and staff will never forget. We started our day with tea and biscuits, we then went on to watched the changing of the guards. Later in the afternoon we had a seated lunch which we was served to us it was lovely. Next we were given the history of Clarence House and job roles of various staff. Later that afternoon we had a tour of some rooms then we went to down to visit the vault and saw the Royal silver service. We were sent back to school with a special goodie bag. I recommend this is somewhere to visit for some good old English history.
