Drove from Texas...blizzard was coming..we were there a few minutes early and asked if we could sit inside the few minutes before they opened at 530 pm..."no" was what were told and almost thrown out..we had children with us and had walked over a mile trying to find this place...I am insulted and embarrassed by the treatment we received. We won't ever attempt to eat here again. Shameful. Update: received a response from this place telling us not to come back and explaining away the lack of compassion.

Delicious authentic style pizza! You can taste the top quality ingredients and I love that you have options for crust. I've been back several times now and always recommend to friends looking for great, real pizza. They love it too!

Giving one star because I can't give no stars. Went walking to see a few sites around New York with my family and everybody wanted to eat here. Every one was really excited about it too. We arrived a little bit early (about 5 pm). It was very cold outside (in the twenties), we had been walking for hours, and everyone was hungry (there are six of us three are children) and asked if we could sit down until they reopened and were REFUSED. I just could not believe it. The crushed looks on the faces of my younger siblings just broke my heart to bits. We were so out raged. We did not eat here and will not be coming back. Don't see how a place that treats customers like that gets any business. Eat here at your own risk and make VERY CERTAIN you DON'T show up if they are still closed for even a MINUTE. Also DON'T expect any kindness or even a place to sit if you have been walking forever and they still aren't open (we sure didn't get any). Very rude response (The problem isn't that I need to go somewhere else to be happy. The problem is that my whole family came here after a long day of site seeing and wanted to sit, warm up, and try some real authentic New York style wood fired pizza and were turned away ) . We would not have caused any trouble. We would have been happy to look at menus while we waited the twenty minutes or whatever for you to be open. We are a large family (Realize I was not the only one there. I am but one of a family of six) and not everybody agrees on everything they want on a pizza. It would have taken the twenty minutes remaining until you opened to decide on what we wanted. We are an upper class family and were prepared to spend a lot of money for a good meal. The nerve of some people to not even let a family sit and warm up. What kind of business practice is it anyway to just up and refuse customers? What a pity. We had always heard rumors that New Yorkers were rude and pushy but had found that not to be the case (The people who ran the hotel where we were staying were very kind as were the people we encountered on the subway) until we got to your place. Such a shame.

Ordered a margarita pizza for pick up. Possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten. Crispy yet chewy crust and delicious creamy mozzarella. The basil was flavorful, just wish there was a bit more. Too bad I live so far away because I can't get my fix whenever I want!
