My partner and I have been coming to this place for years. Tonight we ordered two entres two mains. Entres took half an hour (sashimi not fresh and couldnt finish), nasi dengaku (good as usual). One main then came an hour later and the message that the second main was no longer available.l was give at this point. The main we received was 20 dollars plus and was smaller than the entries and had been sitting there for a very long time..it was unedible. We also ordered two drinks each both times took 30 mins to arrive. It was a quiet night! Was charged full price even though waitress was aware of issues. Very disappointing dinner. I have never reviewed a resteraunt before however this was such an awful experience I thought it neccessary. I hope sushi nada can get it's act together as you have lost two loyal customers and are likely to loose more.

The service was great, food was lovely and the atmosphere was.. uh huh, damn nice. If you're thinking of a great nights meal out, sushi masa is strongly recommended!!

Sushi Masa has been in Camperdown for many years which is a testament to the restaurant's quality of food. It's has always delivered on this point and I cannot remember ever being disappointed by the food here. The service is kind if somewhat erratic during busy times. (Arrive early to avoid this becoming a problem). It is this aspect that earned them the 4 (rather than 5) star review. I personally love the general feeling of authenticity - it always feels like we are in a suburban Tokyo restaurant - and am told by Japanese friends that it meets their expectations in this regard. It's a neighbourhood restaurant so it's not fine dining but it is very pleasant and kind of cool in a funny way. Lighting is softish and it is a quiet place to enjoy your meal. Highly recommended for a small group, family or couple. There are seats at the bar that are good for solo diners too.
