Simple, fast, tasty. What else do you need for lunch? Great kimchi as well. One thing that surprised was the lack of the fermented bean paste which is staple for Koran cuisine. But, if you are nearby, pay a visit!

Can you get anymore legitimate Korean cooking than this!? It was amazing! The portions were great, the prices seemed average for the area, but oh my goodness was that some amazing cooking! We had gotten spicy rice cakes to share and each of us a soup. It was all around amazing and their kimchi is one of my favourite! There is a bit of wait at times, but well worth it!

This is my go to spot for Korean food in The City. Awesome soft tofu soup, love the bibimbap and fried chicken, great service (very friendly owner and servers), good price and nice views. Only downside is parking around the area and the long wait sometimes (but that also means it's a good restaurant)!

Manna serves big portions of really yummy food, with awesome vegetarian options. The service is fast and friendly, and their prices are reasonable (for SF). You should make an effort to get there before noon if you want a seat for lunch, however. I've been left out in the cold several times because they get so busy. It is definitely worth the wait if you have time, though!
