I came here with a large group of friends for dinner and the server was nice enough to push three tables together to accommodate all of us. I had read that Causwells came in 2nd place in a country wide competition for the best United States hamburger. I tried it and it was quite impressive. I would recommend trying to get an outdoor table, there are warmers for colder days and the scenery on chestnut street is probably the best of the city. My group was also very impressed with Causwells wine and beer list. I went here again for brunch and just like most spots on Chestnut Street on a warm weekend day there was a wait. The hostess was extremely helpful and made room for my friend and I to not have to work that long. The brunch food was great and my friend loved her grapefruit mimosa.

Went there at a 3p on a Friday. It was pretty dead but people were starting to pile in as I was leaving. They have a decent happy hour ($5 draft and wine) and apps. Got there just in time for last call for lunch. Order the brunch burger. It was really good. Outdoor seating is available. Good people watching spot, even if it’s on the edge of the marina.

Not sure why all the hype. Soild burger but I was underwhelmed by the other entrees. With so many other restaurants in the Marina , we won't be back.

Their ribs are to die for. Hamburger was great to! Go here, it is really worth a visit. The service is great and the venue is really nice. This place also was a recommended by many locals and we just visited, and was blown away.
