Would like to give a 3.5 though as I think it's pricey .Price and taste are so subjective, wasn't expecting $8.10. What I am willing to fork out for this above average mee siam is $6.50 to $7 max I came after reading reviews that this is the best mee siam. The staff is friendly but don't think I will be back.

I love their mee siam. It's one of the best in town. Also try their sweet potato fries.

Love their all-time favourites Mee Siam and Nasi Lemak, but do give their revamped menu a try. Their Nasi Lemak burger is interesting and actually does taste good. Cakes are a little on the dry side though, so I'd save my calories for desserts elsewhere.

Royal’s has a happy problem when I come by to dine. They never get to sell me any other dish in their menu other than Mee Siam because it is the BEST in the world. If I come by in the afternoon, they are a little better off because in true kiasu fashion, I will first order chicken pies (black pepper is my favourite) for takeaway, lest they get snapped up whilst I’m busy devouring the mee siam of course. You’ve been warned about the awesomeness of this place.

Lovely place to hang out with family and friends. Good food that's reasonably priced. Enjoyed the delicious Mee Siam. Best gravy in Singapore IMHO. My mum loved the fish & chips which remained crispy even after half an hour. Very flavourful batter. The sweet potato fries unfortunately were forgettable. A very wide variety of cakes available if you're just there for tea. Staff polite and attentive. Will definitely be back.
