Wow....the whole building covered with golden colour. Becareful to obey the warning. Because taking picture inside the temple is prohibited. My cellphone was taken by the guard but then I begged a pardon for my false with wet eye...and then he gave me back my cellphone. Thanks sir!

I would expect a sound and tranquil ambiance in such a holy place, but the place is like a market -- people were yelling and the Chinese tourist guides were explaining (or broadcasting) stuff to their tour members in such a loud voice! The place is historical and artistic, although the entrance fee (500 baht) is a little too steep but I think it is worthwhile for the amazing architecture of the buildings and the historical background. But I do not like the noisy and chaotic environment created by the irresponsible tourists!!!
