Props to the chef, as the food was very good quality. There were plenty of wine and ciders to choose from, but a limited selection of food and at higher prices, too. It is perfect for a set 3-course meal and wine... BUT our tall, slender server was less than accommodating; he scoffed at us when we asked questions and was just plain rude all night. The only other server in the restaurant seemed very kind and even wished us well as we left. The server ruined it for me but overall, it is a great place to try.

We found this lovely restaurant by chance and are so glad we did! Out of the three nights we spent in Bayeux, we enjoyed dinner here twice. Both dinners were spectacular and the service was friendly. The owner, Pierre-Henri, was a great host both evenings and recommended some equally great wines to pair with our meals. We are looking forward to our return trip to Bayeux and to Le Volet qui Penche!
