Great sandwiches (especially the bread). Nice staff and atmosphere. It opens early in the morning is a plus, too.

I ordered a baguette called "Normandy" and I was pleasantly surprised. I was not expecting much from this place given its location near Check Point Charlie, which is of course is a tourist attraction, but the baguette was very good. It was not crowded and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back to the place if I'm in the area.

The glass of wine particularly and things in general are a little bit on the pricey side for Berlin standards. Other than that minor detail this place is perfect for a lunch break. The sandwiches come in a broad variety with authentic French pâte for example served with a prune chutney. Very yummy. Quiches, salads and soups are on the menu as well. And leave some space for the excellent lemon cake. Get a taste of France for lunch. I will come again for sure.
