It has a nice seat outside, centrally located next to Checkpoint Charlie. Good wine and service but in my opinion food is overprised for what you get

Utterly old place. Old patrons.. Old menu. Old decoration.. but fresh and tasty ingredients and more reasonable prices opposed to their fancier competitors. They MUST start appealing to a younger clientele, otherwise they’ll become obsolete very soon.

Although the restaurant was almost empty (21:00), we were waiting for drink for more than 20 minutes, soups for another 15 minutes, and main course for another 25 minutes. The food is average (vegetable cream soup, cob with avocado salad) and portions very small. And this was a recommendation! Better to find some other ace for dinner!

This is a very authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Berlin. I ate here twice alone and both times enjoyed the food and ambiance with the typical (charming) Italian waiters. The place tends to be busy but they also seem to take care in serving great food and wine to guests. I recommend it!
