I'm reminded of the joke about a couple complaining about the food in a resort. One says, "This food is horrible". The other says, "Yes, and such small portions". That was my impression. A tiny hamburger that was thrown together with no care. The patty was even broken. A feat considering how small it was. And It tasted bad.Very greasy. All for way more than I would have expected to pay. I won't be back.

Lines appear to be long but the wait isn't bad. They have a good system with friendly employees handing menus to smooth the process so you know what to get once you're close to the ordering window. They are also helpful in answering any questions ahead of time. Food taste great and consistent with all other Shake Shack restaurants I've been to. No restrooms available near by, so be mindful when consuming liquids. Ambiance is in the heart of the park itself with beautiful views of landmark buildings peaking above the trees as reminders of how beautiful this city is intertwined with nature while eating.

The best vegetarian burger that I've ever come across in a very long time - The 'Shroom burger - is at shake shack. I absolutely love this particular burger, with a side of crinkle fries (has to be crinkle cut!) and a good concrete of the week. Concretes are their version of frozen custards, these come in two different sizes. I love the fact that they have special concrete flavor each week and oftentimes customize it to the season! During the fall, you'll come across some great flavors like gingerbread and apple pie! A definite must try place in new york, lines are often quite long, but it's well worth the wait!
