The Shanghai Museum of Glass is located in Shanghai's Baoshan District. The museum is housed on the former site of an industrial glass kiln workshop, the Shanghai Light Industry Glass Company. The museum's spacious interior includes many exhibits, artistic displays of glass work, information on the process of glassblowing, descriptions of the glass industry in Shanghai, and a live-demonstration workshop. A smaller public arts space allows visitors the chance to try their own hand at glass making.
