Langkazi County, Shannan City
Glacier #40 is situated under Mount Jomolhari, at the border between Bhutan and Lhozhag County, in the southern region of Mount Xizang, China. It got its name for being close to boundary mark #40, which is between China and Bhutan. The glacier has a very high sea level. Of the currently discovered glaciers, it is an approachable mountain glacier near land; no special equipment is needed to reach it.
