This exciting, narrated journey along the scenic Skyline Drive takes you ten miles into Santa Catalina Island’s protected wilderness area. While riding along in a 1950’s Flxible Bus, you’ll see spectacular vistas, deep canyons, quiet coves, and an endless blue ocean.
Experience Santa Catalina Island’s protected wilderness area while riding on a 1950’s Flxible Bus. Keep your eyes open for the island’s largest inhabitant, the American bison, before you visit the Nature Center at the Airport in the Sky. The airport houses the DC-3 Gifts and Grill, where you can purchase clothing, books, cards, and other gifts. You can also enjoy a quick bite to eat and the famous “killer cookies" before returning to Avalon. Bring your camera along to capture the picture-perfect scenes that fill the entire tour.
