We make a brief visit to the small city of Ripon to visit the amazing cathedral, built on the site of the original Saxon church. You can explore the cathedral and its original crypt, built in 672AD.

Yorkshire Dales National Park
Discover the quintessential English countryside as we travel through Wharfedale and Wensleydale on an amazing scenic tour of the Yorkshire Dales. This is the landscape and scenery made famous by James Herriot's adventures in All Creatures Great & Small. Countless photo opportunities present themselves as we take to the rural back roads and farm tracks that take us off the beaten track.

We enjoy a lunchtime stop in the charming town of Grassington ("Darrowby" in All Creatures Great & Small). You'll have time to explore the town and to arrange lunch (own expense).
