I really liked this spot. This place is great if you don't know where else to go or there's a long wait elsewhere. Wait staff is super helpful and friendly, use the point method if the language barrier becomes an issue. It's also a safe bet to get good food fairly quick. The name describes it really well oddly enough. For the most part, everything tasted great and they had plenty of spice on the menu. The shredded pork with noodles and hot sauce had a really flavorful broth but the pork itself was a little chewy. I actually expected it to be pan fried noodles but it's a soup, just FYI. The Szechuan chicken was very good, fried and crispy, and a great amount of spice. Just enough to give your tongue that wobbly feeling (in a good way, at least I thought so). The Taiwanese cabbage was also super refreshing and add variety to all the meats and carbs. The star of the show for us was the eggplant in garlic sauce. I was expecting this to be a typical brown style sauce but it was way more than that. It looks more like an Italian marinara but packs a ton of flavor. It's also served cold to room temperature. Overall, I'd go here again if other spots were super crowded or my original plans changed. For 5 people sharing 6 dishes with water, tea, and white rice it came to $51 before tip. Note: they do not have soup dumplings here if that's what you're looking for, there are plenty of other options nearby.
