This is a decent water park but I honestly expected more from Disney. The park has 12 water rides and a giant wave pool. For $60 it's just not worth it. We went with the family over Thanksgiving. Because it was "cold" for most people in Florida (we are from Michigan) the park wasn't busy and we waited five minutes or less for each water ride. I can't imagine going to this water park in it's peak season and actually waiting 20-30 minutes for each ride. The wave pool has HUGE waves. I stood in the 4 1/2 feet section and felt as if I was getting impaled by the water each time a wave came. Maybe that appeals to you, but not me. If I could do it again I would probably have skipped this place. We had a nice time as a family, but it's just not worth the money.

Amazing water park, worth it just for the wave pool, but you sure had better be a good swimmer if you want to tackle the big wave. If you're just after good body slides go elsewhere. Overall rest of rides are great, parked only 4 rows from entrance, park was quiet and totally worth a day on an 8 day pass, would not do it if I only had 2-3 days

It was a toss up between Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon for today's trip, and I am so glad that we chose Typhoon Lagoon. We arrived around 10.30 and managed to obtain chairs and loungers which we placed around the entrance to the wave pool (remember to place ALL bags up high as the wave surf reaches right up to the edge of where you can sit!). The wave pool is incredible, even with loads of people in the park you never felt crowded. The pool randomly generated an amazing tidal wave experience once every couple of minutes and the selection of rides are superb (we never queued longer than 10 minutes on any one ride and went round the awesome saltwater snorkelling Shark Reef twice straight off the bat). We are flying back home to the UK on Tuesday and plan to spend another day here as a thunderstorm cut our day slightly shorter than we'd have liked at around 4pm! All in all the perfect water park for all the family, and the most relaxing environment of them all.
