Today, CUNY admission counselor, undergraduate admissions, on phone lines are so rude. I have a breathing trouble, i tend to breathe loud sometimes, and she asked, "what is it that you are doing on the phone?" I answered " breathing, why , is there a problem?" She didn't answer back. Another one, she cut while i was telling her information. I told her i have an application reference number but she kept asking me for my ss, when my application isn't coming up with my name or my ss, then, she told me to call another number instead. Not to mention, their tone of voice were loud and angry too. When calling an education admission counselor service, one would expect an "educated" service not some rude customer service who are rude and give future students an annoying experience. I did not react back rude to her but i want everybody in the CUNY customer service team needs to know about the service quality they are running. I would be ashamed if i were them. Lacking in manners to the point of being rude. Job position does not suit them.

I finished my high school education in another country and didn't know what to do to get into college I was told I had to go to the WC and get my process going. I did as told, followed the steps, they only asked me for my transcripts and High School diploma, I was surprised by the fact that they only needed that so I found myself scheduling appointments with the counselors every two weeks, calling to check the status of my application and "everything was fine" my application completed and I just had to be patient. I called yesterday to City College, I was planning to major in chemical engineering, to check the status and get a response because it was taking too long. For my surprise they said that I was not eligible because I didn't submit my TOEFL,SAT/ACT scores! Which I was not directed to, only my High School diploma and grades translated. And I asked them before if I needed those and they said NO. I waited for MONTHS, and I kept on top of them to make sure everything was going how it was supposed to, sometimes I felt annoying cause they just looked at me and said "be patient" Now Its a MAJOR set back for me, I'm gonna have to start in a Community College or something because of this place, they were supposed to give us the respective guidelines and help us not prejudice us. The worst experience ever.
