It does not matter if you visit from the North side or the South side, it is a marvel of Victorian engineering and staggering in its size and beautiful in its design. A visit to North Queensferry allows you to stand under the suspended deck close to where one of the diamond shaped feet comes to the ground, above you there are the work huts that were used by the bridge crews.
Viewed at night, it is even more stunning as it is under lit and produces some excellent photo opportunities
