3 Days Trip To Marrakesh
D 1
  • Jardin Majorelle / Majorelle Garden

Away from the noise and bustle of the souks and the Medina, ease into your vacation with a relaxing stroll around these small but intensely charming premises, where paths are shaded by palm trees, exotic plants and traditional architecture dot every corner, azure blue mosaic and bright yellow tiles delight the senses, and cactus plants, lotus flowers, and water lilies paint a vivid landscape.
  • Medina of Marrakech

A short walk from the Jardin Majorelle, the Medina of Marrakech is one of the city's biggest draws and the grandest of all Berber marketplaces in Morocco. A swarming center of commerce, the souks at the Medina sell goods ranging from carpets to leathers, pottery to jewels, lanterns to spices, and more. Plus, snakes, monkeys, and donkeys with laden carts are added to the mix of traffic. Visit to have a mint tea, browse traditional wares and food, and soak up the colorful stalls and surrounding architecture.
  • Jemaa el-Fnaa

The best place to hang around in Marrakech. I could spend hours by just sitting here, sipping in my mint tea and enjoy the happening surrounding. This square is best enjoyed in the evening, when the local and traditional performers start their activities. Can't love this place more.
  • Bahia Palace / Palais de la Bahia

Probably one of the nicest must-see's in Marrakech. The palace features nice green gardens in addition to the other impressive buildings.
  • El Badii Palace

The ruins are pretty awesome and it's really worth it to watch the short video playing near the main pavilion.

  • Koutoubia Mosque / Kutubiyya Mosque

This area is inspiring. Full of life and history and it is surrounded by gardens and orange trees. The mosque from inside is showers your soul with comfort. The architecture is amazing.
  • Saadian Tombs / Tombeaux Saadiens

Situated in Old Medina, this place is not so easy to spot but it is definitely worth a visit. The architecture of the place is grand. The small garden inside the tomb is very pleasant. The graves inside the tomb makes the place full of history. It takes maximum an hour to visit the whole place.
  • Ramparts of Marrakech

The gateways are the primary focus of a visit to the ramparts, and the ornate Bab Agnaou gateway stands nearest to the tombs, with a façade of brick and stone forming a decorative horseshoe arch that makes it most impressive.
  • Medersa Ben Youssef

Nice place to visit to get a glimpse of Islamic architecture & design. It has some parts that are well maintained & others which are not.

  • Mellah

Mellah is the Jewish district of the city in Marrakech. The area is dominated by the beautiful, archaic Lezama Synagogue, and visitors to the area can also explore the historic Jewish cemetery, the myriad spice vendors Mellah is known for, the handmade lantern workshops, and take in the local cuisine. A visit here will afford a different view of Moroccan architecture, as the buildings have balconies and feature the Star of David in their construction. An interesting look at another aspect of the city.
  • Souk Semmarine

The Souks in Marrakesh are a great place to find handicrafts of all kinds. There is a maze of shops.
  • Marrakech Museum

A nice quiet place to go to sit in the shade. There isn't much on display, but the building itself is nice, and elaborately decorated.
  • Mosque of Ibn Yusuf
