One Day In Rio de Janeiro
D 1
  • Ipanema Beach

Beach culture is such an important part of Rio life that most locals try to head to the sea at some point during their days. Why not join them? There is no better way to start a day in Rio than to wake up early and head to Zona Sul — home to many of Rio's upscale neighborhoods and the bulk of its famous beaches, including Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. It's perhaps the best way to acclimatize yourself to the city, and an early morning visit guarantees you a quieter and cleaner experience. You can do it all here — whether you want to swim, bake in the sun, indulge in water sports and beach volleyball, or simply relax with a beer at one of the pubs nearby.
  • Sugarloaf Mountain

One of the best place in Rio De Janeiro, very nice views and very good organized place.
  • Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden / Jardim Botânico

Rio´s biodiversity can be appreciated at this gorgeous and historic green area. Just leave the beach aside for an afternoon and enjoy of the the city´s most peaceful places.
  • Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer

Located at the Corcovado Mountain's peak, the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer is visible from nearly every district, symbolizing Rio and protecting the city with its wide, open arms. On a clear day, visitors can enjoy the 360-degree panoramic views that stretch on for miles, including all of the city’s beaches, as well as the harbor, national forest, and the numerous favelas.
  • Santa Teresa

Santa Teresa, set up in the hills, this artsy neighborhood feels completely different and disconnected from the rest of Rio, almost more like a separate village. The location offers some terrific views of the city, and the converted colonial mansions — now a series of bucolic bars, friendly guesthouses, artists' studios, and some of the best restaurants in Rio — ensure that there's plenty to keep you entertained day or night.
  • Carioca Aqueduct

Great spot for pictures. The aqueduct has been around for centuries, since even before there was a proper city around it.
  • CCBB - Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil

One of the most beautiful places in Rio. Do not leave Rio without a visit. Art expositions, theater, movies, library, restaurant and cafe. All inside there.
