One of the best beaches in Playa del Carmen is Mamita's Beach, where you'll find white fluffy sand and a sparkling blue sea. It is a magical place to hang out — with electronic music, a friendly crowd, and a great restaurant with Mexican and International menus; you could easily spend a whole day here.
Calle Quinta Avenida / 5th Avenue
5th Avenue is the icon of Playa del Carmen. Take a stroll and find Mexican and International restaurants, local bars, souvenirs shops, and plenty of artists and friendly people just one block away from the beach.

Paradise Beach
Wonderful place to relax. Staff are always nearby, friendly, and helpful. Reasonable prices for food and drink. Love the pool, water activities, and the beach.

Ruinas de Tulum / Ruins of Tulum
Beautiful Mayan ruins, lots of greenery, set on the backdrop of the ocean - impressive views. Definitely worth checking out if near Tulum.
Xenses Park by Xcaret
Ideal for nature lovers, this is one of my favorite attractions in Playa del Carmen. You can snorkel, cross an underground river, swim with dolphins, enjoy the Mayan show, and much more!
